The conference will be held in Ustroń, Poland, at a 3 star hotel "Jaskółka",
ul. Zdrojowa 10. Ustroń
is a picturesque holiday and health resort
situated about 80 km south of Katowice at 400 m above sea-level in the valley
of the river Wisła (Vistula), and surrounded by the Beskids,
rich in forest mountains.

Ustroń can be reached either by train
(PKP),
or by bus (PKS) from Warszawa, Kraków or Katowice. You may also
find train connections in Poland at the
Deutsche Bahn web pages.
Of the 3 railway stations in Ustroń, the second one named
Ustroń-Zdrój is the closest
to hotel "Jaskółka". Perhaps the best way to get from
the railway station to the hotel is by TAXI. The TAXI stop is located
next to the station.

A coach will take the participants from the Institute of Physics,
Katowice, Uniwersytecka 4, to Ustroń and back. It will depart
- from Katowice to Ustroń on 11th September, 2009 at
17:30
- from Ustroń to Katowice on 16th September, 2009 at
14:00
The driving time is about 2 hours.
Hotel "Jaskółka" offers reduced taxi fares between
- Ustroń and Katowice: 200 PLN
- Ustroń and Katowice Airport: 250 PLN
- Ustroń and Kraków Airport: 330 PLN
- Ustroń and Bielsko-Biała: 100 PLN
