English.
Presentations
The conference will include invited lectures and contributed papers.
The other papers will be presented in poster sessions.
Location
The conference will be held in holiday house
"Barbara" in
Ustroń - Jaszowiec, which lies about 80 km from
Katowice,
in the Beskidy Mountains.
Opening ceremony
will take place in the Institute of Physics in Katowice May 17, 2000 at 11
a.m. This ceremony is devoted to name the Institute of Physics according
to the name of its first director prof. A. Chełkowski†. After the ceremony
the departure to Jaszowiec by bus at about 16 p.m. will take place.

Abstract
The text of the abstract can be of any length within the one-page limit.
Abstracts must be provided for all presentations, including lectures and
posters in camera-ready form. Use 12 point Times New Roman lettering if
possible. Justification: title, author's names and affiliation(s)
centered, main text fully justified. Presenting author underlined. Margins
3 cm. Please send the original plus one copy of the abstract to the
Organizing Committee
before 10 April 2000

Please deliver the paper on a diskette
(in Word 97 format) and two copies of the paper at the
first day of the Conference.

Proceedings
We will submit the invited lectures and contributed papers for publication
in Acta Physica Polonica A.
All contributions submitted will be refereed.
Manuscripts in English
should comply with the following rules:
-
The author's name, initials, affiliation and address should be given.
- The manuscript should be as concise as possible with a short abstract.
Just below the abstract the PACS Index numbers should be typed.
- The manuscript, including the abstract, references and captions should
be neatly typed in double spacing, on a good quality paper with ample
margins.
- Equations should be typed, punctuated and numbered on the right.
- Figures should be submitted in two sets, completely ready for
reproduction.
- References should be given on a separate sheets and conform to the
conventions used in Acta Physica Polonica A. Abbreviations should follow
conventions of Physics Abstracts
